On June 3, 2024, the city of Pune celebrated a major milestone in the transportation sector with the successful delivery of the first Metropolis Metro train for Pune Metro Line 3. This marks another major achievement for HQI in the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and the first time that HQI has collaborated on a project as a supplier to Alstom. Pune Metro Line 3 is an elevated metro project of about 23 kilometers long, connecting the IT hub of Hinjewadi to the Central Business District of Shivaji Nagar.

Huaqi Intelligence has provided a full-system solution for Pune Metro Line 3, including the PAPIS system control mainframe, various types of display terminals such as LED and LCD screens, and CCTV systems. The integration and management of these systems provides passengers with rich and varied travel information and ensures dead-end security inside and outside the vehicle.

It is worth mentioning that, as the first Indian project in cooperation with Alstom, Huaqi Intelligence has strictly followed Alstom's standards in the process of product design and development, and has significantly improved the system self-test and equipment failure self-test capability.
